Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Habit Doom mobile application ("App") operated by Habit Doom ("us", "we", or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Habit Doom, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Habit Doom is a habit-tracking application that uses Apple's Screen Time API to help users build positive habits by temporarily restricting access to selected apps until habits are completed. The App:
- Allows you to create and track daily habits
- Uses Screen Time API to block selected apps until habits are completed
- Stores all data locally on your device
- Provides visual tracking through calendars and streak counters
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Habit Doom. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Permissions and Screen Time API
Habit Doom requires access to Apple's Screen Time API to function. By using the App, you grant permission to:
- Block apps and app categories you explicitly select
- Unlock apps when you complete your designated habits
Important Limitations: Habit Doom can only block or unblock apps. It cannot:
- Access your browsing history, messages, or personal content
- Monitor your activity within apps
- Collect or transmit any personal data
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your device
- Using the App in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws
- Not attempting to circumvent or disable the app blocking features
- Backing up your data if desired (data is stored locally and may be lost if the app is deleted)
6. Data and Privacy
All data created and stored by Habit Doom remains on your device. We do not:
- Collect, transmit, or store your data on external servers
- Access your personal information or content
- Share your data with third parties

7. App Availability and Modifications
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time
- Update the App with new features or bug fixes
- Change these Terms at any time (with notice to users)
We are not obligated to provide support, maintenance, or updates for the App, though we may do so at our discretion.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Habit Doom is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
We do not guarantee that the App will meet your requirements or that it will be available at all times.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Habit Doom and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or habit tracking information
- Loss of productivity or time
- Any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Habit Doom and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and content, is the property of Habit Doom and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without permission
12. Third-Party Services
Habit Doom uses Apple's Screen Time API, which is subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App is distributed, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Habit Doom regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
By using Habit Doom, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
